We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated postdoc to join the UvA Clinical Psychology Department, and work closely with (a) staff member(-s) on setting up research, writing papers and/or applying for grants. The UvA Clinical Psychology Department conducts empirical research using methods and models from basic psychology to investigate (mechanisms underlying) psychopathology, and to run trials to inform clinical practice.

Research lines include PTSD (Arnold van Emmerik, Sophie Rameckers), therapeutic assessment (Arjen Noordhof, Jan Henk Kamphuis), data science and clinical practice (Henk Cremers), forensic psychology (Bruno Verschuere, Eva Billen), loneliness (Corine Dijk), (bad) habit formation (Sanne de Wit), emotional memory and innovative treatments of anxiety disorders (Merel Kindt, Vanessa Van Ast, Renee Visser, Lotte Stemerding), sleep (Jaap Lancee), psychosis (Lindy Boyette), self-Injury (Tinne Buelens, Derek de Beurs), atypical development (Marie Deserno), medical psychology (Jos Bosch), and mindfulness (Tim Schoenmakers).
What are you going to do
You will conduct your research and/or apply for funding in close collaboration with (a) member(-s) of Clinical Psychology staff, click here.
The positions include 0.2 fte of teaching. Accordingly, subject to availability and qualifications, you will contribute to the teaching program of Clinical Psychology, by e.g., supervising bachelor or master thesis students.

The fulltime position concerns temporary employment for one year. Following a positive assessment and barring altered circumstances, extension of the position may be possible. We will put together a curriculum which will also include the opportunity to attend training courses and both national and international events.
For this position the University Job Classification profile Researcher 4 applies.
Depending on your experience, the minimum salary is €3.226 and the maximum salary is €5.090 gross per month based on a 38-hour working week, in keeping with salary scale 10, as per the Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities.
We additionally offer an extensive package of secondary benefits, including 8% holiday allowance and a year-end bonus of 8.3%.
