Wat is EIPEN?
The ‘European Interprofessional Practice and Education Network for Health and Social Care’ (EIPEN) is an international membership organization of educational and clinical institutions and of individual professionals. It organizes biannual conferences and regional workshops and it supports collaborative projects of members. EIPEN stimulates putting interprofessional collaboration into daily practice, thus improving the quality of health care, based on a holistic view on the wellbeing of patients and persons with a disability.

Conferentiethema: ‘Bridging the gap between education and practice in health and social care’
Het thema van deze 5th European Conference on International Practice & Education sluit naadloos aan bij de doelen, ambities en expertise van de organiserende partners, namelijk ‘Bridging the gap between education and practice in health and social care’. Een thema dat rechtdoet aan de ingrijpende veranderingen in de moderne samenleving en dus ook in de wereld van zorg en welzijn. Een thema dat de tijdgeest weerspiegelt èn een venster op de toekomst opent. Kortom, een thema met relevantie en urgentie, dat raakt aan ons allemaal!
